Industry Veteran Park Joins NACFE

Jim Park, award-winning journalist with extensive experience covering the trucking industry since 1998 has joined NACFE as a technologies consultant. In this role he will help NACFE review existing reports to determine which need updating.

Before stepping into journalism, Jim spent 20 years on the road, accumulating 2 million miles as a tanker driver and owner-operator. He continues to hold a CDL. His background in driving brings a practical, firsthand perspective to his work, especially in areas like equipment, technical advancements, vehicle specifications, safety, and driver issues. Beyond journalism, Jim has hosted a radio show for truckers, produced numerous technical and training videos, and authored three research papers on driver fatigue and the driver shortage. His work has earned nine Jesse H. Neal awards, including “Best Range of Work by a Single Author” in 2020.
