The Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) and the North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE) are now accepting applications for a new initiative, the Commercial Vehicle Cleantech Challenge (CVCC), a market-driven showcase to be held in Denver, Colorado, on July 10, 2019.
Following on the successful models of CCIA’s Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge and Mining Cleantech Challenge, the CVCC provides an opportunity for direct, high-value connections between leaders in the trucking industry, and innovative new and renewable technology solutions. The application process is now open for cleantech companies to showcase their innovative products and technologies. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
– Infrastructure for BEV and FCV vehicles
– Cost reduction for electrification of the powertrain
– Vehicle automation & connectivity
– Driver attraction, retention, & health
– On-vehicle hydrogen performance and cost
– Truck and trailer refrigeration
– Last mile truck productivity
Interested cleantech companies will enter a competitive vetting process, after which 10-12 companies will be invited to present their technologies to the mining partners. More information can be found here: https://coloradocleantech.com/
